The Bahd Corner: Canadianity Film

From Brendan

G’day ther Bahds,

long time listener first time -mailer. I have been a subscriber to TnT ever since the development of the killer initial-ism.

Even without religion Sunday mornings have a ritual feel about them. The calm of knowing most people out there are with you in the grog, pajama’d and not taking anything to seriously is comforting. My ritual has me sneaking downstairs to hang out with the “Bahds” as I tidy up and wipe away the stains of Saturday. Quietly washing dishes I laugh to myself with every short story and h’accent bringing Canada into my kitchen. It doesn’t feel so much as listening but as sharing your podcast, even alone it feels like the neighbours are outside the window waiting to be waved in. The community involvement is akin to that of the vinyl cafe, the gathering and sharing of hosers and hosettes alike.

I am currently light on work and heavy on time (Alberta…) and with an abundance of boredom setting in I had to get creative. I made this little video in honour of #Canadianity and all the boys n girls struggling for work. Remember water freezes for free in this country and there is lots you can do with it on budget.

In closing I appreciate this pod for many reasons, be it Jeremy and his extreme honesty of Jonathon and his professionalism-“isms” (I fuckin love the Franglais being from Ottawa). Thanks for sharing your time with us and hanging out while I scrub pots and pans.

Thanks again
