I have a slice of Canadianity for you, but first off I’d like to say that I moved to Canada 8 years ago, and just became a citizen recently. I’m pretty well assimilated, but I never really understood the depth of the obsession with hockey. It was too much to take in, so I just blocked out all hockey talk. However, I feel like I’m being slowly immersed in both current hockey, and hockey lore by you guys. Its just enough hockey talk for me to absorb.

Now my slice of Canadianity. We all know someone who walks around in a tank top when its -11. Well I was dropping my kids off at daycare, and the dad beside me in the parking lot was wearing shorts and a tee-shirt. It was -34, and thankfully his kids were in snow suits. When I went to pick my kids up that afternoon, I saw him AGAIN, wearing shorts and a t-shirt. My husband normally does the daycare run, and he said he see this guy all the time, and he never wears anything other than shorts and a tee-shirt.
